Is Communication Easy

Communication is everywhere. Somehow, someway everyone communicates to some extent everyday. Overall its easy. However our ways of communication have drastically gone downhill. Look at this class for example. It's online and we are all learning and communicating through a computer screen rather than face to face in person. Now a days no one can have a real conversation. Most communication is done through text. Talking on the phone let alone in person is now considered old school. We take these communication skills for granted. We now assume that we can solve all problems through text. We avoid confrontation and hardly have real life conversations. Through evolution we have lost most verbal communication skills. This creates the problem of insecurity. Take a teacher and student for example. We assume that we can just email students and ask for help because students don't even want to go to professors offices during their helping hour. In order to help future generations we need to start communicating more verbally. Do you agree?

Is Communication Easy response

Hi,
I definitely can see your point with this topic and I totally agree that communication has become a fad of the past. Many people would rather text a long letter via email or text then to pick up the phone to express their true feelings. Often times, when texting or emailing our real thoughts get lost in translation. Some would say that as long as you can verbalize what your thoughts are then communication should be fairly simple and easy. Unfortunately, that's not the case. One can interpret something one way and another person can view it another way, it's all in how you put things in perspective. Some people may think that apologizing in person is a difficult task to do while others can do it easily. It all depends on the person who is doing the communicating to determine if it would be easy or not. Great post! Thanks for sharing.
